Entangled - A story within a story

The subject itself is already dramatic for me. It already tells a story. Before playing with it I asked my son what he thought of the photo and in an instant he said it reminded him of an abandoned child, which is for me a pretty common photo already.

After playing around with it, I asked my son again what he thought and he said it was still a photo of abandoned child, but the child was left in the woods to grow up with animals. (My son has a wild imagination).

By tweaking, the "story" of the photo becomes extra-ordinary. You bring out more of it.

I took several photos of this boy and what I can say is selection of what to play around and post process is still important. I can't post process it all this way. In fact, not all of his photos can be played with, it doesn't bring the same satisfying effect for me. I had to find the right one, to set the tone and to convey what I want.
